I spent a month at 12 Oaks for alcoholism and I was greatly disappointed in the quality of the program. From the initial detox through group meetings, the lack of professionalism was outrageous and systemic. I'm my experience, many of the folks providing therapy needed it more than the patients. The always overcrowded situation resulted in little to no actual personal counciling. Multiple repeat classes (the same class over and over again) where the instructor read the words on the PowerPoint slides without adding context. There were a few folks working there that were competent and I appreciate their efforts, but I would only go to this facility as an absolute last resort!

I personally attended this facility. Individual time with counselors was minimal and perfunctory. Most patients smoked compulsively. Meetings were always interrupted by patients coming in after waiting in long lines for meds. Limited medical staff was often rude, dismissive, and rarely available.

I called 12 oaks to ask questions about my son.All of my questions were answered in a timely manner.Everyone was nice and helpful. I would recommend this facility. My son has spent time at this facility before and when he was released he stay clean for awhile this was back In 2008. I was pleased with his treatment then and still pleased today.

Do not take your loved ones to this place if you expect them to not come home with more medication then they went in with. I did not even know that there was a such thing as an opioid maintenance program. Now she is convinced she is justified talking “Opioid light” Suboxane. The whole 30 days my wife was in treatment the only person I could talk to was the receptionist. No one else would call me back or except my calls.no family sessions or updates at all.I have been my wife’s primary care taker for years you would think they would want to talk to me regarding her treatment, but nope. The sad part of all of this is that it goes against everything on their website and in their brochure. Don’t waste your time!
